JASC – Japanese American Service Committee is hosting a Taiko Summer Camp! Taiko is a style of Japanese drumming that is wildly popular, and known for its deep bass. Taiko drumming is gaining popularity world wide, and is seen at many Japanese Festivals in the USA and abroad.

The Taiko Summer Camp presented by resident artists from Tsukasa Taiko, one of the Midwest’s largest community ensembles managed by professionals. During the Taiko Summer Camp, you will be introduced to the history and basics of authentic Japanese Taiko drumming, learn a new song, get a unique workout, and most importantly, have fun throughout the whole experience!
